Make Your Own Canvas Tote Bag Workshop

Join us for a Saturday Sewing Workshop at the Stamford Library! Learn how to use the sewing machine and do basic sewing to construct your very own custom-designed tote bag.

Instructor Megan Avery will teach you how to:

• Cut fabric for your tote
• Sew the bag and gussets for a flat bottom
• Add a lining to your bag
• Sew sturdy webbing straps
• And even add an outside pocket

There’s absolutely no sewing experience necessary and you’ll leave the workshop with your finished bag.

There is very limited space in this sewing workshop. If you’d like to sign up, swing by the library to have your name added to the list. There is a $5 registration fee for this workshop.
