Sweetheart of a Quilting Class

Are you interested in learning how to quilt? Or are you looking to perfect your skill? We’ve got a sweetheart of a class for you! Join local sewing teacher Megan Avery, of Hipstitch Academy for a quilting class to celebrate love!

In this All Levels sewing class, participants will learn basic quilting skills to create their own heart-shaped quilt block.

You will use cotton scraps in fun, creative ways to make a Valentine’s Day-themed sewing project.

The quilt blocks can be used as part of a larger sewing project including quilts, pillows, and garments.

All supplies and sewing tools (including machines) will be provided.

This fun workshop will teach basic sewing if you’re a beginner or help you develop your skills if you’re already a seasoned semester.

Free for Stamford Library cardholders & $5 for those without a Stamford Library card.
