Guitar in the Mountains Spring Series
Guitar in the Mountains with Drew Azzinaro
Free Community Guitar Program | Spring Session Begins April 20
Stamford Library is thrilled to welcome back acclaimed guitarist and educator Drew Azzinaro for Guitar in the Mountains, a year-long community music program made possible through a Delaware County Arts Grant administered by the Roxbury Arts Group.
Building on the success of previous sessions, this program offers accessible, high-quality guitar instruction in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Open to participants of all ages and experience levels, the program emphasizes shared learning, creativity, and the joy of making music together.
Through group instruction, students will explore rhythm, melody, and harmony while developing skills in technique, improvisation, and collaboration. Musical styles will include classical, jazz, blues, folk, and contemporary traditions. Each eight-week session will culminate in a live recital at the library, celebrating participants’ progress and bringing the community together through music.
