
Get Eclipse Ready at Stamford Library!
Join us at Stamford Library on Friday, April 5, and Get Eclipse Ready during 2 special program sessions!
Learn all about why eclipses happen and how to view the upcoming eclipse safely!
Each session will include age-appropriate hands-on activities like modeling why solar eclipses happen, leaning what to expect during the eclipse and learning how to create your very own eclipse viewer.
Session One: 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Suggested for participants ages 5 to 8!
Session Two: 2:15 p.m. -3:15 p.m. Suggested for participants ages 9 and up!
Participants at both sessions will receive FREE solar eclipse-viewing glasses!
Then, make sure you to pick out your perfect spot to catch the TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE on Monday, April 8!!! You won’t want to miss it, considering the next total solar eclipse that will be able to be seen from the contiguous United States will be on Aug. 23, 2044!!!!
