Crochet Coral Workshop with Sinzia Reese
Corals (hyperbolic) patterns are not only beginner-friendly but mistake-friendly too!
Join local crocheter Sinzia Reese for this hands-on workshop and learn all you need to know to create vibrant, colorful, and adorable crochet coral pieces on Saturday, April 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In this program, Sinzia will teach the basics stitches needed to create the corals, including single stitch, half-double crochet stitch, double stitch, and chaining. Participants will then put it all together to create two hyperbolic shapes. Experienced crocheters are encouraged to add additional ruffles to the edges of their completed shapes.
Completed pieces can either be taken home or added to the growing crochet coral reef which has had featured installations at arts and cultural venues throughout the region!
The workshop is FREE and open to all those with previous crochet experience. Pre-registration is strongly recommended to ensure we have enough materials for everyone. To register, stop by the library today or call 607.652.5001.
