NYS Fire Towers: The Past, the Present, and the Future – April 21

Step into the history and future of New York’s fire tower system with this engaging and thought-provoking presentation. “NYS Fire Towers: The Past, the Present, and the Future” will take you on a journey through the development of fire towers across the state—exploring how they were established, the critical role they once played in fire detection, and how changing technology and society led to their decline in use.
