Homework Club
Stamford Library is proud to offer local students the opportunity to work with certified New York State educator Beth Mowry during a special Homework Club series! Throughout the 2023-2024 school year, students are invited to attend twice-monthly homework club sessions at Stamford Library receiving one-on-one assistance and encouragement while gaining confidence and building the skills necessary for ongoing success!
Students in grades K-12 are welcome to bring homework assignments to complete, projects to plan and work on, or receive the extra help they need with a particular subject or assignment. Before each session, caregivers will receive an email asking them to provide an idea of each participant’s specific needs and goals.
Each session will start with a check-in and snack and students are asked to bring their own water bottles.
Students will also receive a punch card to track attendance. After attending five Homework Club sessions, students will be able to select a reward from our awesome prize bucket!
In 2023, Homework Club sessions will be held on Fridays, October 6 & 20, November 3 & 17, and December 1 and 15 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Homework Club is free and open to all local students in grades K-12.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required by stopping in at the library or calling 607.652.5001.
